My name is Linda Barber and I would like you to know that when I put my home on the market last year I chose Vickie Dickerson as my agent and what a great choice I made. Vickie is a very enthusiastic about her job and works very hard for her clients, I was always able to get in touch with her and if she was unavailable at the time she would call me back as soon as possible. Whenever there was going to be a showing she was able to work around my schedule because I had dogs in the home I would need to take away from my home. When the house went under contract Vickie was there every step of the way, she would explain each step and took care of things so the whole process was easy for us. There are many agents out there but I can tell you first hand that the choice I made was the best choice for us and the best choice you can make is to go with Vickie Dickerson you will be glad you did.
To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to provide my recommendation of Vickie Dickerson as a realtor and listing agent. My wife and I contacted Vickie when we began the process of selling our home in the Virginia Beach area. At the time, we were already living on the West Coast and needed to do a large remodel of our home after a fire. We knew that finding a realtor that we trusted would be critical, given that we would be communicating with the realtor from across the country. I arranged to meet with Vickie while I was back in Virginia on business. Within minutes of our meeting, she began making phone calls to help us set up interviews with contractors who we would need to hire to do the necessary renovation work before being able to sell our home. After signing up to work together, we knew that we could count on Vickie to keep us informed of what progress was being made on the sale of our home. She stayed in touch with me via email, text, and phone, and often outside of normal business hours. It was not unusual to receive a reply or an update from Vickie after 5pm her time, or on the weekends. Since we were not living in the area, and unable to check in on the remodel progress at the house, Vickie undertook to check in herself - even going so far as to change light bulbs, pick up debris, and fix loose screws. Trying to sell a home from across the country was a difficult process, but Vickie endeavored to make it as stress-free as possible. We always felt that she had our best interest at heart, and went beyond what one would expect from a realtor. She presented every offer, without presumptions, but gave her honest assessment of the pros and cons of each offer. Her experience and knowledge shined through. I would highly recommend her to my own family and friends, and to anyone looking to have their best interests looked after in buying or selling a home.

Over a year ago we decided it would be best to put our house up for sale. Vickie had been walking the neighborhood passing out flyers and getting to know people in our subdivision. She stopped and talked to us. We had a good feeling about her through our long conversation about home sale options and how they may pertain to us. We decided to team up with Vickie. We had the opportunity several years ago to purchase our home working with Vickie Dickerson. We didn't have to do anything! After sharing our description of what we were looking for, Vickie did all of the legwork. We looked at pictures and descriptions of homes for sale and chose the ones we thought were worthy of physical visits, and Vickie took care of scheduling the appointments, driving, etc. Questions and phone messages were returned quickly and professionally, no matter the time. When it came time for the home inspection, Vickie was right there, following the inspector and taking notes. She contacted the listing realtor and told her of the needed repairs. When the repairman was due to be at the home making repairs, Vickie was right there to see that the repairs were done properly. Through what could have been a stressful experience, my husband and I both felt that Vickie truly had our best interests as her guiding principle. I would highly recommend Vickie as your real estate agent.
It is our pleasure to recommend Vickie Dickerson as a real estate agent for any individual or family searching for the ideal home for their unique situation. We were comfortable in a small two-bedroom apartment until the birth of our second son. We needed a larger home with a yard for our dog, a swimming pool for my teen-age son and a large living room for a play area for the baby and fast! Vickie Dickerson is beyond easy to work with. I started working with her while | was on deployment last year. She is very patient and flexible with you and is available to you anytime...I MEAN ANYTIME! Everytime i went underway, she took care of anything I needed on my behalf in this process. I will always recommend her to anyone. Vickie was very professional, kind, and went above and beyond throughout the entire process. She would not let me settle for anything and always fought in my best interest during negotiations. I never felt rushed during any process. I worked with her for a whole year during the end of my deployment, after the deployment, and while in and out to sea before i actually found the perfect one. She kept me grounded and encouraged especially when I felt I would never find the one. She has become more than just a realtor to me and I am forever grateful for her help in finding the perfect home.
